My professor assigned us to do a project about multiple discounts and what would be the best deal if you are shopping with coupons.

This math assignment can be applied in real life situations if you are out shopping and you want the best deal and you are not sure what would be better. My current job is a cashier so I deal with 20% off coupons regularly. Its beneficial to know percentages so I can give my customers the best deal possible with other coupons as well.

This project dealt with using percentages and what the cost would be if you applied two different coupons in a different order. It had you understand what the best deal would be.
